Google Maps Platform - web design
The Google Maps Platform serves as a comprehensive collection of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Development Kits (SDKs) that provide developers with the capability to seamlessly incorporate Google Maps functionality into their mobile applications and web pages. This integration allows developers to not only embed interactive and customizable Google Maps within their digital platforms but also to retrieve and utilize diverse data sets available through Google Maps services. In essence, the platform empowers developers to enhance their applications with dynamic and location-based features, contributing to a richer and more engaging user experience.
I collaborated within a team responsible for conceptualizing, sustaining, and advancing a versatile layout that effortlessly adjusts to various devices. My role involved close collaboration with developers to construct and troubleshoot issues as they emerged. Additionally, we undertook the task of redesigning pre-existing pages to align more effectively with our client's revised objectives.
GLOBAL NAvigation
This redesigned global navigation for the Google Maps Platform delivers a high-performance, responsive architecture engineered to scale fluidly from mobile touchscreens to ultrawide desktop monitors. By implementing a flexible three-column grid, the UI maintains a sophisticated hierarchy that balances a persistent, category-coded iconography system with a dynamic "Featured" section, allowing clients to prioritize and promote specific products or pricing models. The integration of a centralized, AI-ready search bar further future-proofs the interface, ensuring that whether a user is navigating complex datasets on a tablet or a wide-screen workstation, the experience remains intuitive, accessible, and conversion-focused.
